ADMISSION PROCESS
Every year we look forward to welcoming you to the Jnana Ganga Central School (JGCS) Bellare. Our admission process reflects our values of respect, opportunity and achievement and is designed to ensure the smoothest possible transition for your child.
We have commenced our admissions for the Academic Year 2023-24, and admissions for the Academic Year 2023-24 will be open for Nursery up to Grades IX.
Personal Appointment
You are requested to fill the Enquiry Form to enable us to schedule a personal appointment with a member of the Academic Team. Once we receive the completed Enquiry Form, we will give the complete details of the admission.
Presentation About The School
These personal family appointments will comprise a detailed presentation about the school, ancillary services and the curriculum for the grade applying as well as an opportunity to collect the Admission Forms. This gives us the opportunity to share details about our vision, program and questions you may have about settling in to the new learning environment at JGCS.
Interaction
On submission of a completed Application Form for Admission to the office, we will schedule another family interaction; this time enabling us to understand your vision and expectations and also your child’s learning level.
Registration
Application must be complete and information mentioned in the Registration Form should be true. In case of any discrepancy, management holds the right to cancel the admission of the child.
Acceptance
The acceptance of admission will be communicated to you via a personal call or email.
Obtaining & criteria submission of the Application form
- Parents who wish to apply for admission should obtain the brochure and application form on Payment of Rs.400/- (In cash) from the school office.
- The duly completed application form must be submitted in the school office on or before the stipulated date.
IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS TO BE ATTACHED AT THE TIME OF REGISTRATION
- Certified copy of school report of the previous academic year (if applicable)
- Three passport size photographs and two stamp size photographs of the students.
- Parent’s & Guardian’s photographs (2 copies each)
- Original Birth Certificate of the student.
- Copy of T.C (if possible). Original documents of the submitted photocopies should be made available upon request for verification.
- Aadhar Card Photocopy of the student & Parents..
- 1 color photograph of the family (father mother & child)
- Photocopy of residential address proof
- Photocopy of Caste Certificate (other than General)
- Admissions are given in a fair and transparent manner.
- Students need to appear for a preliminary evaluation followed by a personal interaction which is a must in order to identify their personal needs in learning.
- Kindergarten students are admitted based on personal interactions alone.
As of May 31st 2024, your child must be
- For admission to Play Group -1, a child should be at least 3 years old
- For admission to Play Group -2, a child should be 4 years old
- For admission to Play Group -3, a child should be 5 years old
- For admission to Grade 1st, a child should be 6 years old

Please note:
The above amounts reflect tuition fees only.
Expenses towards school uniforms, books, transportation, mid-day meals, music, robotics, examination fees, and any additional co-curricular activities opted by the student are not included in the tuition fee. These will be payable at the time of admission.
Hostel fees are charged separately.
